Do you work on commercial properties?
No. Gate & Grid is residential only — single-family homes, acreage properties, and new construction. We do not install commercial security, fire alarm, or business access control systems.
Do you install fire alarms?
No. We do not install, inspect, or service fire alarm systems. Our focus is home cameras, smart entry, gate access, and residential security sensors.
What guarantees do you offer?
Every job starts with a free site walkthrough and a written quote — what we quote is what you pay. We install to manufacturer specs, stand behind our workmanship, and you will always reach Dan or Sean for support — not a call center.
Do you offer alarm monitoring?
We install home security sensors and panels. If you want professional monitoring, we can connect you with a trusted partner — Gate & Grid does not operate a central monitoring station.
What brands do you install?
We use proven home-grade equipment such as Reolink cameras, Qolsys home panels, and smart locks and doorbells matched to your door. We choose gear that works reliably for homeowners, not commercial-only lines.
How far do you travel?
We serve Greater Houston, Lake Houston, and surrounding communities from our bases in Highlands and Magnolia. Contact us with your address — if you are nearby, we will come out for a free walkthrough.
What if something stops working after install?
Call or text us during business hours, or email service@gateandgrid.com. We offer an optional Annual Service Plan for priority tune-ups and support.
Do you pull permits?
If your project requires a permit, we will discuss that during your site walkthrough so you know what to expect before work starts.
Can I add cameras later?
Yes. We design systems to expand. Additional cameras can be added to most installs — ask about our per-camera add-on pricing.
